About Me!

Peter grew up in the small village of Perthville about 12 miles south of Bathurst, NSW. He didn't start painting seriously until high school, then entered the computing industry. At 45 he rediscovered art after meeting his wife Debbie-Lee. He began with charcoal classes, experimented with watercolour and acrylics, and found his comfort zone in oils. Almost entirely self-taught aside from a few short courses at the Workshop Arts Centre, Willoughby, and the Royal Art Society, North Sydney. Now lives at Forster on the NSW Mid North Coast.
